Job summary

Ethero is recruiting a Temporary Project Coordinator for a busy Christmas project based at its Uttoxeter distribution hub. This full-time temporary role requires a proactive, detail-focused coordinator who can liaison with drivers, contractors and internal teams to keep deliveries and collections on schedule.

Key responsibilities include managing debriefs, updating Microsoft Business Central, maintaining spreadsheets and providing support to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact for deliveries and collections with drivers and contractors.
• Respond to live operational challenges and coordinate solutions.
• Ensure delivery/collection debriefs are completed and documented.
• Escalate issues promptly and drive resolution with relevant teams.
• Update information in Microsoft Business Central; full training provided.
• Maintain project spreadsheets and operational records.
• Monitor internal communications and escalate as needed.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Operations Manager and project team.
• Offer out-of-hours support during key project stages.
• Occasionally perform weekend remote monitoring of deliveries and collections.

Temporary Project Coordinator Uttoxeter Full-time Temporary Christmas Project

Important: Due to the site location and very limited public transport links, applicants must have their own reliable mode of transport.

The opportunity

Ethero is recruiting a Temporary Project Coordinator on behalf of an established international equipment rental business based at its distribution hub in Uttoxeter. This is a busy, hands-on coordination role supporting a major seasonal project over the Christmas period. You will work closely with drivers, third-party providers and internal teams to help ensure deliveries and collections run smoothly and on time.

What you will be doing

• Act as a central point of contact for internal teams, drivers and contractors regarding deliveries and collections.
• Respond to live operational challenges and help coordinate practical solutions.
• Ensure delivery and collection debriefs are completed and accurately documented.
• Escalate issues promptly and follow them through to resolution with the relevant departments.
• Update and maintain information within Microsoft Business Central, with full training provided.
• Maintain project spreadsheets and accurate operational records.
