About The Role

Role: Project Co-Ordinator

Location: York (SCC operate hybrid working, which comprises a mix of office and home working)

Contract Type: Temporary

Salary Package: £25,000 - £30,000

Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm, Monday – Friday

Role purpose:

To assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of audio-visual projects. Work closely with project managers, technicians, and clients to ensure smooth projects and successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure project timelines, equipment, and resources are aligned. Arrange ordering of equipment and monitor ETAs to ensure timelines are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, as appropriate and in line with standard SCC collaboration governance.
  • Assist Project Manager in budgeting for AV projects, tracking expenses, and ensuring the project remains within the allocated budget.
  • Oversee logistics for transportation, installation, and maintenance of AV equipment.
  • Fully coordinate projects where only coordination is in scope.
  • Undertake tasks as agreed with the Project Manager to support project delivery.
  • Ensure all project paperwork is accurate and compliant with company standards.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, for smooth project execution.
  • Help address and resolve issues or challenges during the project.
Skills and experience:
  • Experience in AV project coordination or administration.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a professional manner.
