Our client, a leading and expanding manufacturing organisation established for over 30 years in Tamworth, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Coordinator.

Whether you're stepping up from a coordination or administrative support role or seeking to further develop your project experience, this position offers real scope to evolve your skills in a business that values professional development.

Your salary will be up to £30,000. Benefits include: 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays, Paycare - A Healthcare Cash Plan (Discounts available and access to a 24-hour Doctor), Access to Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and up to 5 days extra unpaid holiday available at a salary sacrifice and 2x life assurance. Hours of work: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday – please note this is an office-based position.

Working As The Project Coordinator, You Will

  1. Collaborate with project manager to meticulously plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to ensure timely delivery
  2. Monitor project progress and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing any deviations to keep projects on track and within budget
  3. Prepare thorough project documentation, including comprehensive scope documents, compelling business cases, detailed project plans, insightful status reports, and accurate meeting minutes
  4. Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to foster alignment and drive project success
  5. Track project expenses and resources meticulously, maintaining accurate records and producing insightful reports to inform decision-making
  6. Champion effective risk management and issue resolution strategies, promptly escalating and resolving any challenges to minimise project disruptions and maintain momentum
  7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices by actively supporting the implementation of best practices and process enhancements

As the Project Coordinator, you will have:

  1. Experience in project coordination or administration with a demonstrable track record supporting successful project delivery
  2. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  3. Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage stakeholders at all levels
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using project management software and tools
  5. Self-motivated with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  6. Holds a full UK driving licence
  7. Prince2 or Project Management certification would be advantageous
  8. Experience working within roles such as Project Support Officer, Project Administrator, Project Officer, Project Assistant, or similar within Projects
