Job summary

A dynamic manufacturing company is seeking an Operations Support Team Member to join their project enablement team in Flintshire. Responsibilities include resolving production issues, managing tooling and consumables, and supporting facility improvements. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of aircraft assembly tools and strong IT skills. This position offers a 12-month contract with opportunities for process improvement and skill development.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge or experience of aircraft assembly tools and techniques.
  • Experience with tooling, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ability to identify and deliver improvement opportunities.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Understanding of Lean systems and principles.
  • Practical, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering and design teams to resolve production issues.
  • Manage consumables, tooling, and calibration processes.
  • Coordinate with Facilities and Services to meet delivery and service agreements.
  • Support projects and facility improvements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support safety compliance (health, safety & environmental).
  • Carry out financial analysis, reporting, and control.
  • Support lean systems and visual management processes.

Skills

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Team Member to join our client's project enablement team in Flintshire.

You will play a key role in supporting production, maintaining tooling and materials, and driving continuous improvement.

This is a 12 month initial contract term working 35 hours per week on an onsite basis.

You can expect to be doing the following:

  • Working with engineering and design teams to resolve production issues
  • Managing consumables, tooling, and calibration processes
  • Coordinating with Facilities and Services to meet delivery and service agreements
  • Supporting projects and facility improvements
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Supporting safety compliance (health, safety & environmental)
  • Carrying out financial analysis, reporting, and control
  • Supporting lean systems and visual management processes

You will have:
