Job summary

Learning Partners Academy Trust in Guildford is seeking a Progress Coach to start in September 2026. The role offers 33.75 hours per week, term-time only, with a working day from 8.00am to 3.45pm.

The post sits at Grade LPT4 (£26,721–£28,615 full-time; pro rata £21,739.80–£23,280.73). You will support students, teachers and the school to raise achievement, contribute to the Loft provision for autistic students, and deliver bespoke guidance.

Qualifications

• A high standard of literacy and numeracy is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• IT skills are essential.
• Previous experience with teachers and supporting students is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students, teachers and the school to raise standards of achievement.
• Develop positive working relationships with allocated students to plan best support for academic and social progress.
• Be approachable, calm, caring but firm.
