Job summary

Progress Coach role in Guildford at Eteach UK Ltd, supporting Guildford County School's students and staff. The position is part-time (33.75 hours/week, term-time) with a 8:00am–3:45pm day, and salary in the LPT4 range (£26,721–£28,615 full-time, pro rata for part-time).

Successful candidate will work across classrooms and the new Loft provision for autistic students, requiring strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are essential for supporting students, teachers and the school.
• A high standard of literacy and numeracy is required for the post.
• IT skills are essential to handle daily tasks and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students, teachers and the school to raise achievement.
• Develop positive relationships with allocated students to plan and deliver the best support.
• Be approachable, calm, caring but firm in all interactions, including with autistic learners in The Loft provision.
