Job summary

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking a full-time Progress Coach to facilitate individual learner achievement, respond to learner needs, and empower learners to take responsibility for their own learning. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload and work collaboratively to provide consistent pastoral and academic support.

This post runs 38 weeks per year as a fixed-term role for one academic year.

Qualifications

• Suitable candidates will possess or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent).
• Educated to A Level standard or equivalent and hold 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate individual learner achievement and respond to learner needs.
• Empower learners to take responsibility for their own learning.
• Manage a personal caseload of students with pastoral and academic support.
• Collaborate across college to ensure consistent, high-quality support.
