Job summary

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Scotland is looking for a Production Technician. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in a science-related field and experience in a GMP laboratory. Responsibilities include performing microbiological and cell culture techniques, manufacturing and optimizing antibodies, and ensuring thorough documentation. The position offers a 40-hour workweek with an hourly wage ranging from £12.90 to £15.30, along with opportunities for challenges in a dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

Our client a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer has a vacancy for a Production Technician preferably with Bsc in science.

Job Details

  • Early/Back shift pattern
  • Monday to Friday
  • £12.90 - £15.30
Production Technician Key Responsibilities may include:
  • Microbiological and cell culture techniques
  • Manufacture and optimization of antibodies
  • Purification and conjugation skills
  • Immunoassay and Agglutination techniques
Production Technician Minimum Qualifications/experience:
  • Ability to accurately perform calculations, follow procedures and complete documentation in a methodical manner
  • Experience in a GMP laboratory environment preferable
  • Experience/knowledge of laboratory techniques eg. ELISA, Agglutination, purification and conjugation desirable
  • Minimum requirement Bsc in science related subject.
  • Action oriented - you must have energy for a challenge and take opportunities
