A leading manufacturing firm in Irvine, UK, is seeking a Supervisor to oversee non-exempt personnel in final assembly. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and over 4 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include coordinating daily operations, managing project timelines, and ensuring safety standards are met. Flexibility for 2nd shift work is required. This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Supervise non-exempt manufacturing personnel for instrument final assembly manufacturing of various product lines. Coordinate day‑to‑day activities. Provide input on manufacturability, ergonomics, test improvements, routings and capacity. Operate and manage department within budget. Must be willing to work on a 2nd shift as needed. Prior supervisory experience.
Onsite 4+ Years of Experience in a supervisory role. Experience in a Manufacturing Environment. Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering. Role involves overseeing the Packaging line consisting of about 12 employees. The line will be packaging catheter products. The position also has a strong focus on safety projects and assisting with Ops support. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of manufacturing supervisory experience with some project management experience as well. Will look at experience in other industries and candidates without degree but degree preferred. Supervisory exp is required. Must have management skills and project management skills. In this scenario, project management exp refers to managing critical pathways on the line to meet goals and follow an established timeline.
Interviews will be 1) virtual screening and 2) onsite. Relocation at own expense is okay. Possible to extend and/or convert to FTE for right candidate.
