We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Alloa location.

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality goods in compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the production operatives.
• Organize task deployment of production and relevant site activities, including monitoring, supporting, and checking for completeness to the standards required.
• Ensure completion and maintenance of company documents, including, but not limited to, cleaning schedules, training records, and production record sheets.
• Maximize production throughput according to the requirements and capabilities of the plant.
• Inspect production areas and report any non-conformities.
• Review, update, and train on Safe Systems of Work and Toolbox Talks.
• Conduct daily inspection of production samples and make appropriate adjustments.
• Report issues and required changes to the Production Manager.
• Deputize for the Production Manager in their absence.
• Ensure Material Flow system is up to date and information is entered correctly.
• Organize and monitor loading bins.
• Ensure staff adherence to Health and Safety systems and procedures.
• Report hazards or accidents promptly and ensure operators report hazards.
• Participate in weekend and weekly on-call coverage (1 in 4).
• Support supervision of site activities.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed, investigate, report, and record incidents and near misses.
• Report potential quality impacts and opportunities for improvement.
• Require experience in Food Manufacturing and Malting.
• Possess strong communication skills to develop working relationships.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring process timings and quality requirements are met.
• Maintain a flexible approach to working hours.
