The Central Sterilising and Processing Department is seeking a proactive and experienced individual. The successful candidate will be proficient in all aspects of the decontamination process to ensure the provision of high-quality sterile products. The post holder will have specific responsibilities for supervising all operatives, ensuring continual compliance with departmental procedures, and contributing to effective team working to meet daily theatre demands.

Flexibility is essential in this role as shift rotation and weekend working will be required to support future service expansions.

Applicants must have relevant experience in Sterile Services and have achieved the required level of competence in their current role. You should also demonstrate a sound knowledge of instrumentation and the decontamination process. Additionally, understanding and compliance with ISO13485:2016 Medical Devices standards are required. Good communication, interpersonal skills, time management, and current or ongoing pursuit of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences Technical Certificate are also necessary.
