Production Manager

Location: Worcestershire (commutable from Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Bromyard, Ludlow areas)

Job Purpose:

1. Management of a high-volume, complex manufacturing process overseeing day-to-day operations against H&S, QCD performance metrics.
2. Develop and grow your direct reports and the team around you to build a positive and nurturing environment.
3. Implementation and review of Standard Operating Procedures and KPIs across your department.
4. Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering engagement and professional growth.
5. Drive a strong culture of Health & Safety on site.
6. Lead and drive Continuous Improvement activities.

Experience required:

• Experienced Production Manager, Supervisor, or Shift Manager within fast-paced volume manufacturing environment seeking career growth.
• Experience leading teams in high-volume or large batch production in a pressurized manufacturing setting.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills.
• Excellent planning, organizing, management, and organizational skills.
• Assertive, independent, self-sufficient, capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to drive performance against KPIs.
• Management or supervisory qualifications such as ILM, NVQ4, HNC, Degree, IOSH.
• Time served / BTEC Mechanical Engineering and lean/sigma training are highly desirable.
