EVEREC is seeking a Production Engineer in London to develop and optimise manufacturing processes, layouts and operational efficiency. You will work closely with design and engineering teams to drive DFMA input and improve productivity from development through to mature operations.

The role focuses on solving technical challenges, improving manufacturability and delivering cost-effective production systems within a growing engineering business.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, fabrication and mechanical assembly.
• Experience designing, developing or improving manufacturing production lines, workstations or layouts.
• Experience applying DFMA principles in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
• Experience supporting products through development into established manufacturing operations.
• Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing workflows and material flow optimization.
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and optimise manufacturing production lines, workstations and layouts.
• Review and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
• Provide DFMA input throughout product development lifecycle.
• Support transition of products from development to established manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate methods and techniques to improve manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Apply value engineering to optimise designs and production costs.
• Monitor production performance to identify bottlenecks and improvements.
• Develop and implement OEE monitoring and improvement initiatives.
• Support efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and material flow.
• Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and implement practical solutions.
• Support machining, welding, fabrication, laser cutting and mechanical assembly activities.
• Utilise MRP/ERP systems to support production planning and process improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity and quality.
