Job summary

EVEREC in London is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Manufacturing Technician to join a thriving engineering and manufacturing team. The role covers operating CNC and manual machinery to produce precision components, prototypes and assemblies, collaborating with engineers to improve manufacturability and efficiency.

The position requires hands-on expertise, problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, with relocation support available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Years' experience in CNC machining, precision engineering or a similar environment.
• Strong practical experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.
• Apprenticeship or technical qualification in engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC milling and turning machines, plus manual mills and lathes.
• Manufacture precision components from drawings and specs.
• Use CAM software for toolpath prep, verification and execution.
• Perform setups including workholding, datum setting and offsets.
• Select cutting tools, feeds, speeds and strategies for materials.
• Machine metals, alloys and plastics to spec.
• Conduct dimensional inspections with precision measuring equipment.
