Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering roles.
• Experience in DFMA, PFMEA, control plans and process standardisation.
• Lean manufacturing experience in low-volume, high-value production.
• Proven problem-solving using 8D methodology.
• Ability to develop SOPs, visual standards, and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes with DFMA focus.
• Conduct PFMEAs to identify and mitigate risks.
• Design streamlined process flows and layouts for efficiency.
• Create standardised work instructions and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Deploy 8D problem-solving for root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with quality to meet specifications and NCR handling.
• Specify and oversee new equipment installations and tooling.
• Implement lean methods and modular build strategies.
• Analyse costs and identify waste reduction opportunities.
• Document processes with SOPs, control plans, and flow diagrams.
