Job summary

Qualifications

• ONC/GCSE level Mathematics and English are essential.
• Engineering/Physics A level or equivalent is desirable.
• Degree level education is desirable.
• Experience in optical or related technical industries is advantageous.
• Ability to write and implement procedures is essential.
• Project management experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into efficient production processes.
• Create and maintain Item numbers, BOMs, and routings in ERP/MRP.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and component drawings for manufacturing.
• Set up quality folders, FAI reports, and traceability documentation.
• Support Engineering Changes by updating drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, supply chain and suppliers to resolve issues.
