Job summary
Alpine Racing UK Renault Group is seeking a Production Engineer to bridge design and manufacture, improving manufacturability and lead times for composite and metallic components in our production operations.
You will lead DFMs, collaborate with Design, Production and Quality, embed production knowledge, review NCRs, and drive continuous improvement to deliver high quality parts on time.
This role offers exposure to F1 manufacturing at a world-class facility with competitive pay and benefits.
Qualifications
- Hands-on production and assembly experience across composites and metals.
- Ability to read, interpret and challenge technical specifications and engineering documentation.
- Solid understanding and application of GD&T.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience analysing manufacturing performance data to drive improvements.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities across an agreed product portfolio.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers to improve manufacturability, assembly and inspection processes.
- Embed production knowledge into the design process to improve production readiness and specification quality.
- Review and analyse production feedback, including NCRs, concessions, faults and observations, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future designs.
- Maintain manufacturing specifications and supporting documentation with accurate revision control.
- Support the reduction of manufacturing queries, specification amendments and production lead times.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities across production processes.
