Zusammenfassung

Alpine Racing UK is seeking a Production Engineer to bridge design and manufacture for race car components, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and on-time delivery within our production department.

You will lead DFM activities, work with Design, Production and Quality, and drive continuous improvement across composite and metallic production; the role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving and rigorous documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Strong hands-on production and assembly experience across composite and metallic components.
• Ability to read and challenge technical specifications and drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing documentation practices.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, Ply Books, MS Office and Power BI.

Aufgaben

• Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities across product portfolio.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to improve manufacturability and inspection.
• Embed production knowledge to improve readiness and spec quality.
• Review production feedback and ensure lessons learned are applied.
• Maintain manufacturing specifications with accurate revision control.
• Support reduction of manufacturing lead times and queries.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities.
