Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited is seeking a Production Engineer to bridge design and manufacture for high-performance F1 components. You will lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities, collaborate with design, production and quality teams, and drive manufacturability improvements across composite and metallic parts.

You will embed production knowledge into design, review production feedback and maintain specifications, while delivering improvements to reduce lead times and enhance readiness for

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on production and assembly experience in composite and metallic components.
• Ability to read, interpret and challenge technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Sound understanding and practical application of GD&T.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience analysing manufacturing or production performance data to drive improvements.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM, Ply Books, Microsoft Office and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design for Manufacture (DFM) activities across an agreed product portfolio.
• Work with Design Engineers to improve manufacturability, assembly and inspection processes.
• Embed production knowledge into the design process to improve production readiness and specification quality.
• Review and analyse production feedback, including NCRs, concessions, faults and observations, ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future designs.
• Maintain manufacturing specifications and supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and effective revision control.
• Support the reduction of manufacturing queries, specification amendments and production lead times.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities across production processes.
