Production Engineer - Laboratory Automation

Our client, a manufacturer of laboratory automation products based in East Grinstead, is seeking a Production Engineer to join their growing engineering team following a successful new product launch.

Responsibilities:

1. Support sales efforts by assisting with proposals for new products and configurations.
2. Test and refine new hardware, electronics, and firmware in collaboration with the development team.
3. Set up and manage functional and life testing of new products and features.
4. Provide support to Production, focusing on firmware and electronic/mechanical interfaces.
5. Translate technical support into clear procedures for Production.
6. Participate in customer visits for installation or troubleshooting when needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• An engineering degree in a relevant subject.
• Proven experience in a production and development engineering environment.
• Reside within a commutable distance of East Grinstead.
• Full UK driving license (beneficial).

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: £28,000 to £40,000, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience.
• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.
