Job summary

Hawk 3 in Oldbury is seeking a Production Administrator to join its operations team, coordinating the customer order process from order receipt through to production, shipping and invoicing.

The role is office-based with regular interaction with customers and the shop floor; you will own schedules, manage expectations and ensure on-time delivery.

Candidates should have experience in customer service/order management within manufacturing and familiarity with Sage Line 50 is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, order management or planning within manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and liaise with shop floor.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Experience translating demand into production requirements.
• Familiarity with Sage Line 50 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt to delivery.
• Own the order-to-delivery process with production.
• Act as key contact for major customers.
• Forecast demand with customers and provide accurate schedules.
• Coordinate weekly production schedules and ad-hoc requirements.
• Prepare shipping and despatch documentation and notes.
• Maintain stock levels and liaise with suppliers.
