Safran Seats in the UK specializes exclusively in First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide-body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams based in Cwmbran, Newport, Wales, and Brackley, England.

The role's primary purpose is to coordinate daily production requirements, focusing on reducing non-value-added activities (NVA) from inputs into assembly areas. The responsibilities include managing production orders, travelers, coordinating deliveries, maximizing efficiency, reducing waste, and achieving on-time delivery (OTD) targets. The role also involves encouraging continuous improvement within the production system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure production requirements are integrated into the daily schedule and communicate work plans to colleagues.
  • Take responsibility for component quality and conformity.
  • Implement best practices and maintain high housekeeping standards.
  • Minimize shop-floor material inventory.
  • Contribute to and secure all inputs to meet cell performance KPIs and NVA measures.
  • Promote a standardized work approach and share learning experiences.
  • Maintain a safe working environment following the company's health & safety policies.
  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
  • Process NCRs and manage MRB stock cages.
