Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers offers a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship in a busy kitchen environment. You will work full-time under experienced chefs while training toward a nationally recognised qualification. The program includes work-based training with both in-person and remote coaching, along with progression opportunities.

Wage starts at £10.85 per hour for 18-20 year olds and £12.71 per hour for 21+; benefits include pension, 28 days holiday, and staff discounts across brands.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop cooking skills.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen operation and food preparation to brand standard.
• participate in team meetings and training modules.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all kitchen areas.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep, and par process.
• Respond to guest queries and resolve issues professionally.
