Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months. Training is delivered on the job with a mentor, plus in-house sessions and remote calls every 6 weeks. Functional Skills in English and Maths are included if not already held as GCSEs or equivalent.

You will gain hands-on kitchen experience, with progression opportunities and exposure to 19 brands across the business.

Qualifications

• No college attendance required; apprenticeships delivered through work-based training with mentor support.
• Functional Skills in English and Maths (if GCSEs not held).
• Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the entire team to ensure delivery of outstanding food and service, promoting a supportive atmosphere.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and efficiently to brand standard.
• Ensure guest queries and complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep and par process.
• Keep up to date with business information, promotions and new products.
