Job summary

Bulgin Limited in Cambridge is seeking a Product Safety Engineer to lead global product safety approvals and certification management. The role focuses on maintaining certification databases and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to support new product development, manage certification projects, and keep the safety procedure up to date. Flexibility with hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience with standards (ISO, IEC, etc.) is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product certification database and manage new certifications.
• Stay updated with industry standards to support the role.
• Collaborate with production, sales and marketing to fulfill the role.
• Support sales with customer enquiries related to approvals and certifications.
• Keep the Product Safety procedures current and comprehensive.
• Provide technical input in new product development.
• Share knowledge of third‑party product approvals with the team.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities.
