AMOT is seeking a Product Compliance Engineer to own certification and regulatory strategy across product lines, ensuring designs meet safety, environmental, and quality standards for global markets. The role involves leading certification efforts, liaising with UL, TÜV, CSA, and notified bodies, and integrating evolving regulatory changes into engineering requirements.

You will review designs early, maintain technical files, and train teams on compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or certification engineering in industrial sectors.
• Working knowledge of major hazardous-location, pressure equipment or electrical safety standards (ATEX/IECEx, UL, CSA, CE).
• Experience managing certification projects with external labs or notified bodies.
• Strong technical documentation skills (files, test reports, declarations of conformity).
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsabilités

• Lead product certification across standards (ATEX/IECEx, UL/CSA, CE, RoHS/REACH).
• Liaise with third-party certification bodies (UL, TÜV, CSA) for submissions, testing, audits and renewals.
• Review designs early to flag compliance risks.
• Maintain technical files, declarations of conformity, and certification docs.
• Interpret evolving regulatory changes and translate to engineering requirements.
• Support root-cause investigations and corrective actions in field or audits.
• Collaborate with sourcing to ensure component-level compliance.
• Train engineering teams on compliance requirements relevant to designs.
• Track the certification roadmap across the product portfolio.
