Qualifications

• Proven experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, certification or related engineering.
• Strong understanding of UK/EU product compliance legislation (EMC, electrical safety, and radio equipment).
• Knowledge of CE and UKCA conformity requirements.
• Experience with environmental legislation (WEEE, batteries) and sustainability considerations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Brigade's products meet regulatory and technical requirements for UK, Europe and international markets.
• Support product certification, conformity assessments and maintenance of technical compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and other teams to integrate compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Liaise with suppliers, testing laboratories and certification bodies for testing, approvals and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor changes in international product legislation and standards and assess their impact on current and future products.
