About the role

Under the guidance of the Procurement Manager and as a member of the team, you will be responsible for the delivery and continuous development of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient administrative support service.

You will:
  • Ensure the delivery and continuous development of an effective and flexible service.
  • Follow the appropriate financial and regulatory policies, ensuring necessary regulations and standards are adhered to.
  • Review and monitor processes, procedures and associated documentation, implementing or making recommendations for changes as appropriate.
  • Plan and administer complex meetings, visits, conferences, committees, and the associated budgets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and provide proactive detailed advice and guidance to enable appropriate solution.

For this role, you will need to be on site 3 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on‑site will be expected due to business needs.

What we’re looking for:
  • Numeracy and literacy at secondary education level (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
  • Educational attainment at further education level (or demonstrable equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of using MS office programmes to Advanced level;
  • Working knowledge of PA23 – desirable
