Job summary

Origen Carbon is building zero-emission lime and planning a new process development function to support commercial deployment. You will own process questions, definition, and scale-up strategies for kilns and plant concepts, working closely with the VP Technology and Design Engineering Manager.

The role is an individual contributor as a starting point, with room to grow as the company scales. Bristol-area processes and partnerships with OEMs will be central to delivery.

Qualifications

• Genuine process engineering experience in an industrial, capital-intensive setting.
• Experience with scaling processes from R&D to commercial deployment.
• Ability to work with OEMs, suppliers or external technical partners.

Responsibilities

• Own a prioritised portfolio of process improvement initiatives with senior stakeholders.
• Assess feasibility and cost impact of scale-up concepts.
• Translate R&D findings into engineering-ready process requirements.
• Lead feasibility and trade-off analyses for major process changes.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and report progress to VP Technology.
