Job summary

Origen Carbon is seeking a Process Development Lead to own the process questions that will define our future lime plants. This is a build-from-the-ground-up opportunity, working closely with our VP Technology and Design Engineering Manager.

You will own a prioritised portfolio of process improvement initiatives, assess industrial-scale concepts, and translate findings into engineering-ready requirements while collaborating with OEMs and external partners.

Qualifications

• Industrial process engineering experience in capital-intensive settings.
• Experience with heat and mass balances and process flow diagrams.
• Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, or external technical partners.
• Ability to translate R&D findings into engineering-ready requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of process improvement initiatives with the VP Technology and Design Engineering Manager.
• Assess feasibility and cost impact of scale-up concepts for industrial deployment.
• Lead trade-off analyses for major process changes such as firing and powering plants.
• Build relationships with OEMs, suppliers and external technical partners.
• Work with Design Engineering as the process voice in reviews and decisions.
• Report progress and risks to leadership and contribute technical input for investor discussions.
