Job summary

Pear Recruitment is seeking a Tenancy Progressor / Property Manager to join our lettings team in Potters Bar. The role covers tenancy processes from references to move-out, and managing a portfolio of residential properties with landlords and tenants.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive and able to build strong relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors. Driver with own car is required; hours are Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Competent in Microsoft Office and CRM/property management software.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tenancy process from offer agreed through to move-in.
• Prepare and issue tenancy agreements and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all legal compliance requirements are met before the commencement of tenancies.
• Coordinate referencing, Right to Rent checks, deposits, and move-in appointments.
• Register tenancy deposits within the required timescales.
• Manage tenancy changes, notice and move-out procedures.
• Liaise with landlords and tenants to resolve tenancy-related queries.
• Assist in the management of residential rental properties and coordinate maintenance.
