Job summary

Thomas Charles Facilites & Maintenance is seeking a reliable Site Support member to help keep a busy educational site running smoothly. The role covers general duties, basic maintenance, and compliance routines to support daily school activities.

You will assist with room setups, event preparation, site readiness, and inspections, monitor security and safeguarding, and coordinate with contractors and the in-house facilities team to maintain logs and respond to issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general site duties including cleaning, basic maintenance, and grounds support
• Support the opening, closing and securing of the premises as required
• Assist with room setups, event preparation, and site readiness for school activities
• Carry out routine site inspections and report defects, hazards, damage and maintenance requirements
• Monitor site security, access control, and safeguarding protocols
• Support health & safety routines and emergency response procedures
• Liaise with school/site management and elevate issues appropriately
• Provide access for approved contractors and visitors and liaise with contractors while on site
• Work alongside our in-house maintenance and facilities team as required
• Maintain structured logs for tasks, incidents, and compliance checks
