Job summary

TLTP Education is seeking a reliable Site Manager for a welcoming Croydon primary school. The role requires hands-on management of day-to-day site operations, security and maintenance to ensure a safe and well-kept environment for pupils and staff.

You will be responsible for opening and closing, routine upkeep, and coordinating with external contractors, with strict adherence to safety guidelines and school schedules. Local residence to Croydon is essential due to split shifts.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have experience in site management, facilities, maintenance, caretaking or a similar role.
• Must live locally to Croydon and be able to travel to the school for both shifts.
• Split-shift availability is required (morning and afternoon).

Responsibilities

• Opening the premises each morning and ensuring the site is ready for the school day
• Locking up the premises at the end of the day and ensuring the site is fully secure
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and minor works as needed
• Maintaining grounds and keeping the site clean, tidy and presentable
• Cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool
• Monitoring security of buildings, grounds and equipment
• Coordinating with contractors and external service providers when required
• Supporting safety checks and compliance to keep pupils and staff safe
