Job summary

TipTopJob in Croydon, South London is seeking a reliable Site Manager for a primary school. The role involves a split shift pattern, morning 6:30am–11:30am and afternoon 3:10pm–6:10pm, to manage daily site operations, security and maintenance.

You will ensure the premises are safe, clean and well-maintained, with local travel between shifts. Experience in school facilities or caretaking is preferred, and the successful candidate will take ownership of the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management, facilities, maintenance, caretaking or similar.
• Ability to open/lock premises and manage daily site operations.
• Local to Croydon and able to commute for split shifts.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Open the premises each morning and ensure the site is ready for the school day.
• Lock the premises at the end of the day and ensure full site security.
• Oversee day-to-day running and upkeep of the premises; general maintenance and minor works.
