Job summary

TLTP Education is helping a Wexham, Slough primary school recruit a reliable Site Manager to oversee daily premises operations.

You will handle opening/closing, security, general maintenance, grounds, and liaise with contractors, with a focus on safety and readiness for pupils and staff.

Candidates should be local to Wexham/Slough and able to attend daily; prior site management or facilities experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management, facilities, maintenance or caretaking.
• Reliable, proactive and hands-on approach.
• Local to Wexham/Slough and able to travel to the school daily.

Responsibilities

• Opening the premises each morning and ensuring the site is ready for the school day.
• Locking up the premises at the end of the day and ensuring the site is fully secure.
• Managing the day-to-day running and upkeep of the premises.
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs and minor works where appropriate.
• Maintaining the grounds and ensuring the site is kept clean, tidy and presentable.
• Cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool.
• Monitoring the security of the buildings, grounds and equipment.
• Reporting and coordinating any larger repairs or maintenance issues.
• Liaising with contractors and external service providers when required.
• Carrying out regular health and safety checks.
• Supporting the school with compliance and ensuring the premises remain safe for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Responding promptly to any site-related issues or emergencies.
