Job summary

Fulwood Hall Hospital in Preston is seeking a Private Patient Administrator to support the Private Patient Manager. The role involves direct customer contact to facilitate the private patient journey, liaising with patients, consultants and hospital departments, and a busy schedule of appointments.

Ideal candidates will be professional, have excellent verbal communication, be computer literate (Word/Outlook essential) and able to work within a team. PAS experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Liaising with patients by phone, email & letter
• Booking appointments
• Liaising with consultants and their secretaries
• Ensuring timely completion of appointments onto EPR system
• Scanning & auditing of patient information
• Preparation of clinics and theatre lists
• Maintaining clinics and theatre lists on the EPR system
