Job summary

Spire Norwich Hospital is seeking a proactive Private Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for self-pay and insured patients. You will guide patients through their healthcare journey, provide accurate information, and ensure a seamless experience from enquiry to treatment.

You will support enquiries, scheduling, quotations, and payments while collaborating with consultants and hospital teams to deliver outstanding patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
• Able to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse patients and staff.
• Comfortable handling sensitive and complex conversations about healthcare.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in customer-focused roles within healthcare, hospitality, or service sectors.

Responsibilities

• Answer enquiries by phone, email, or in person.
• Guide self-pay and insured patients through treatment options.
• Convert enquiries into appointments, diagnostics, and admissions.
• Provide accurate quotations and process payments.
• Build relationships with consultants, secretaries, and hospital staff.
• Explain financing options and support informed patient decisions.
• Utilize digital systems to manage enquiries efficiently.
