Job summary

IQ-EQ seeks a Client Accountant to serve as the primary day-to-day contact for private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients, managing fund accounting activities, deliverables and reporting.

Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements under UK GAAP/IFRS, overseeing investor cash movements, and ensuring regulatory compliance while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• HOLDER of ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, or qualified by experience.
• 3+ years in a professional office environment, ideally within financial services or accounting.
• Strong accounting knowledge with experience reviewing working papers and financial statements.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and communicating with stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior team members with intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with fund clients and engage with CFOs and controllers.
• Review quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Oversee investor drawdown and distribution calculations and cash movements.
• Coordinate timelines, monitor progress, resolve issues, ensure timely reporting.
• Mentor team members and drive process improvements and risk reduction.
