Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Client Accountant - Funds (UK Fully Remote) to serve as a day-to-day front office contact for designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. The role focuses on delivering accurate accounting, technical compliance, and timely communications with CFOs and financial controllers.

You will review financial statements, ensure UK GAAP/IFRS alignment, and mentor junior staff while supporting client-specific frameworks under LPAs.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional office experience in financial services or accounting practice.
Experience reviewing working papers and financial statements with disclosures.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues professionally.
Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day relationships for designated fund clients, including overseeing deliverables and timelines.
Review quarterly/annual financial statements for UK GAAP/IFRS compliance with Manager support.
Validate investor drawdown and distribution calculations and cash activities to investors.
Mentor junior team members and apply client-specific accounting frameworks per LPA.
Drive process improvements to balance stakeholder needs and reduce risk.
