Job summary

IQ-EQ in the United Kingdom is seeking a Client Accountant to serve as the primary day-to-day contact for private equity, real estate, credit or debt fund clients, ensuring accurate fund administration and timely financial reporting.

The role requires reviewing financial statements, cash movements, investor communications, and coordinating deliverables with clients while maintaining strong relationships with CFOs and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a professional office environment, ideally financial services or accounting.
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification or equivalent CPD demonstrated.
• Strong experience reviewing working papers and financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Manage designated fund clients as the front‑office contact with CFOs and investors.
• Review quarterly/annual financial statements, investor drawdowns, and distributions.
• Oversee fund cash movements and investor communications, ensuring timely notices.
• Coordinate client deliverables, set timelines, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to process improvements and risk reduction.
