Job summary

IQ-EQ is a global investor services group providing administration, compliance, governance, data and reporting across 25 jurisdictions. The role focuses on day-to-day front office contact for designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients, ensuring deliverables are met and timelines are adhered to.

You will review financial statements, validate investor drawings, and mentor junior staff while applying robust Excel skills to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification (e.g., IATI) or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a professional office environment, ideally in financial services or accounting practice managing multiple client relationships.
• Strong accounting expertise, including reviewing working papers and financial statements (with disclosures) or CPD-supported experience.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and resolving issues directly with clients.
• Intermediated Excel skills to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships for designated Private Equity clients, overseeing deliverables, timelines, and communication with CFOs/financial controllers.
• Review quarterly/annual financial statements ensuring compliance with UK GAAP or IFRS in collaboration with Manager and Technical & Training teams.
• Validate investor drawdown and distribution calculations, ensuring accurate fund movements and clear investor communications.
• Mentor and support junior team members while developing expertise in client-specific accounting frameworks (per LPA).
• Drive process improvements, balance stakeholder needs, and optimize workflows to reduce risk.
