Job Description:

This role involves working as a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager in Guildford, focusing on a variety of clients including OMBs, HNWI, Partners in Partnerships, Non-Doms, and Sole Traders. The responsibilities include advisory and compliance work, preparing tax returns, managing client portfolios, identifying planning opportunities, and overseeing administration and billing.

The office is conveniently located within walking distance from the train station, with parking available nearby. The team is friendly, collaborative, and actively participates in charity, networking, and social events.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Managing compliance, accounts, and tax computations.
  • Identifying planning opportunities and preparing client reports.
  • Managing WIP and client billing.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in a professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and some exposure to planning/advisory work.
  • ACA / ATT / CTA or equivalent qualification.
