Job Description:

The role

Would suit an ACA/CTA qualified person with some post-qualification experience in private client tax, corporate tax, and tax valuations. While experience in these areas is desirable, it is not essential. A willingness to learn and a keen desire to get involved in new areas are key.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • An ability to provide advice and solutions to technical tax queries, interpret technical matters of varying complexity, and communicate this information clearly to clients and team members.
  • Prepare advisory reports and correspondence on complex/technical tax matters.
  • Strong UK tax technical skills and understanding (or willingness to undertake the CTA if ACA qualified).
  • Project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, meet deadlines, and monitor budgets.
  • Provide feedback on work progress to clients, colleagues, and other advisers, keeping them informed of developments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Client-focused and commercially aware.
  • Commitment to building strong client relationships and delivering quality outputs.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills across various situations and stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality work delivery and take responsibility for projects.
  • Practical experience of accounting standards and knowledge of accounts is essential.
