Job Description

Would you like to be part of our Guildford Private Client Tax team, working on a variety of clients including OMBs, HNWI, Partners in Partnerships, Non-Doms, and Sole Traders? You will be involved in a mix of advisory and compliance work.

The office is within walking distance from the train station, with local parking, in a town offering many restaurants and shopping options. Our team participates in charity, networking, and social events and is known for being friendly and collaborative.

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will be the primary contact for your portfolio of clients, working with colleagues to deliver annual tax compliance and identify planning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tax returns for a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, and partnerships.
  • Managing all aspects of portfolio administration, including compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations.
  • Identifying planning opportunities and preparing reports for clients.
  • Managing WIP and client billing.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a professional services firm.
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance, with some exposure to planning or advisory work preferred.
  • ACA / ATT / CTA or equivalent qualification.
