We are seeking a talented and motivated Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join a Professional Services department, helping to steer tax compliance and advisory services for a broad range of clients. Our client is a medium-sized professional services firm based in Sevenoaks, renowned for its dedication to delivering exceptional client service. Specialising in tax, accounting and business advisory, they work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors.

Description

• Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
• Produce complicated letters for clients.
• Identify tax planning and cross selling opportunities to pass on or deal with directly
• Assist with the coaching and development of junior staff.
• Billing and WIP management.
• Management of filing deadlines.
• Work closely with partners and other team members to efficiently deliver high-quality tax work.
• Contribute to the firm's business development activities.
• Stay updated with changes in tax law and communicate these effectively to clients.
  
  

Profile

A Successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager Should Have

• ATT/ACCA qualified with eagerness to pursue CTA.
• Good understanding of income tax, capital gains tax, national insurance & PAYE, pension planning, corporation tax and business tax.
• Basic understanding of inheritance tax and VAT.
• Able to deal with HMRC tax enquiries with tax manager's supervision.
• Able to research when personal knowledge or understanding is lacking and ask questions where required.
