Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive (Wills, Trusts, LPAs & Estate Admin)

Location: Kettering

Salary: £55,000 to £75,000 plus bonus and benefits

Experience: Ideally 5+ years' PQE (flexible for strong candidates)

If you're a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive who enjoys high-quality private client work, takes pride in technical standards, and likes being part of a genuinely supportive team, this is a strong opportunity in Kettering.

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced private client fee earner into their well-established team. This is a key hire into a busy and growing department, with the chance to work closely with the Head of Team, support junior colleagues, and help maintain excellent client care and compliance standards.

You'll manage a varied private client caseload with an existing client base, while also playing a visible role in supporting the wider team. Full-time or part-time working is available.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing a varied private client caseload, including:
• Wills and estate planning
• Probate and estate administration
• Powers of Attorney
• Inheritance Tax planning
• Trust creation and administration
• Supporting and supervising junior team members
• Providing technical guidance to colleagues across the team
• Helping maintain high standards of client care, compliance and file quality
• Building relationships with clients and professional referrers
• Contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

What We’re Looking For

• Solicitor (England and Wales) or CILEX Lawyer / Chartered Legal Executive
• Solid private client experience (ideally 5+ years' PQE, but flexibility will be considered)
• Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, IHT and trusts
• Confidence supporting and supervising junior colleagues
• Organised, commercially aware and approachable working style
• Enjoys building relationships and developing referral networks
• STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential
