Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join the on-site team at HM Prison Leyhill. This permanent, full-time position supports the Warehouse Manager with daily operations, supervises the Prisoners and Team Leaders, and ensures compliance with health and safety and prison rules.

You will lead a Monday–Friday, 40-hour week, with responsibilities for staff training, inductions, and delivering performance targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team.
• IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting.
• Enhanced security clearance is a mandatory requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations onsite at the Prison.
• Line manage Warehouse Team Leaders and supervise prisoners at work.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Prison rules.
• Train staff and run inductions.
• Meet and exceed operational targets.
