Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting for a prison-based warehouse role at HM Highpoint Prison, Suffolk. The role involves managing daily warehouse operations on-site, supervising prisoners, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and prison rules.

The position is permanent full-time, with Monday–Friday 8:00–16:00 shifts and requires security vetting. You will work in a prison environment and contribute to efficient order picking and distribution.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a team
• Clear communication and people skills
• 3 years UK address history (required for security clearance)
• IT literate for reporting
• Must have UK driving licence and own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations on-site at the prison
• Line manage the Warehouse Team Leaders and supervise prisoners at work
• Ensure Health & Safety and prison rules compliance
• Staff training and inductions
• Meet and exceed operational targets
