Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting for a prison-based warehouse operative at HM Prison Leyhill. This is a hands-on role inside a custodial setting, involving picking, packing and stock control while adhering to security and safety procedures.

You will work Monday to Friday 07:45 to 15:45, with a pay rate of £28,198.19 per year, and must pass enhanced vetting. The role supports the Canteen Service, handling offender-driven orders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on warehouse task execution including picking and packing.
• Ability to communicate clearly in challenging environments.
• Willingness to work in a prison setting and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside offenders in a prison warehouse.
• Perform picking and packing tasks and manual handling up to 20kg.
• Maintain accurate stock and support smooth operation; work to targets.
