Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a prison-based Warehouse Manager or supervisor to oversee on-site operations inside HM Highpoint Prison in Suffolk. You will lead a team including Line Managers and supervise prisoners, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of orders within the facility.

Role involves security vetting and working patterns Monday to Friday, with a focus on meeting operational targets and maintaining high standards of accuracy and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
• Line management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work
• Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as prison rules and regulations
• Staff training and inductions
• Meeting and exceeding operational targets
